Electrical Installer

Wilmington

Under general direction from the assigned Team leader, PM or Operations Manager; responsible for the field execution of assigned projects. Ensures that assigned projects are done accurately and on-time as directed. Ensures work performed is following state, local and federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics. Adheres and ensures workers and subcontractors adhere to all safety standards. Responsible for following consistent and repeatable field installation processes to maintain an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project installation results.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving to achieve productive on time installation and QAQC control 

  • Proactively addressing potential problems 

  • Effectively communicating project progress as required. 

  • Adhering to construction standards and contract documents for compliance with contract scopes, local codes, and installation techniques. 

  • Installing electrical raceway systems (i.e., EMT, RIDGED, IMC, PVC, ECT) 

  • Attending job progress meetings as required. 

  • Coordinating with the team leader for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives. 

Qualifications:

  • Certified training courses or work-related experience with proven minimum of 2 years of direct electrical construction experience in the Building Construction Industry. 

  • Field experience with projects related to conduit, mechanical, HVAC controls, fire, DAS, AV systems, structured cable, and security systems is desired. 

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Projects may exist outside of assigned geography and travel via car or airplane. 

  • May require lifting of 50 lbs. climbing of multiple flights of stairs and considerable walking in construction boots required.
