Electric Works

Ft. Wayne, Indiana

Electric Works West Campus is a brand new mixed-use site featuring Class A office space, retail and restaurants, and common areas with amenities. The customer approached Symphony to design and install a robust solution to market 5G to their tenants. The scope of work includes 6 main buildings with a projected capacity of 6,000 occupants at one time.

Symphony is installing a carrier-grade, neutral-host, 4G/5GJMA TEKO DAS to propagate commercial cellular frequencies for all existing major carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile/Sprint), with accommodation for future operators (Dish Network). Symphony has been successfully working with AT&T and T-Mobile, who have agreed to provide a signal source, and is currently in discussions with Verizon for the same. The TEKO platform is a software-defined modular solution with expandability to introduce future 4G and 5G technologies to the DASwithout necessitating any hardware rip-and-replace. The system is automatically 5G ready once carriers convert from 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) to 5G NR (New Radio) protocol.
